Witness a little D.C. Baseball History during Nats next home-stand

During the upcoming home-stand, Nats’ fans may witness the Nats win their 500th victory.  Going into this afternoon’s game with New York Mets the Nats have won 495 games since the team left Montreal.

Washington Nationals’ fans have lived through the misery of their team losing a lot more games (642) than they have won (495) since the team played their first game back in 2005. With the team losing so much since 2005 sometimes it is hard to find positive things to write about.

Here is a positive for you, the team’s 495 victories is a lot more wins than Washington baseball fans witnessed from 1972 to 2004. As hard as it is sometimes to watch the team lose it is much better than not having a team at all.

Here is another positive for you. I guarantee the Nats won’t take another seven plus seasons to win their next 500 games. With future looking much brighter than the past I believe fans of the Nationals will be witnessing a lot more victories over next five plus seasons.
