Have you voted? Today is the last day to cast your ballot

Jim Hartley of the Washington Baseball Historical Society and I “dcbaseballhistory.com” are co-sponsoring an election of the best players to have ever played (1901-2012) baseball for Washington. We are hoping to receive ballots from Washington baseball fans from every generation.

Below is a ballot for you to use as you are selecting the best players at each position for every era of Washington baseball.

Voting ends on Election Day, November 6, 2012. We will create a final ballot with the results we receive in this round of voting. You can vote by sending me your selections by e-mail at mhornbaker@comcast.net. If you want a ballot on a Microsoft Word document sent to you please e-mail me to request one.

Visit the Washington’s All Time Baseball Team(s) tab to view batting and pitching statistics for each era.
