2005 - Washington Nationals signed John  Halama as a free agent.

2007 – The Nats’ 6-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals (50-58) was the Nationals’ sixth straight—their best winning streak in more than a year.  Dmitri Young capped off a 3 run sixth inning with a two-run double to give the Nats’ a 6-3 lead.  Washington is now 51-60.

2007Washington Nationals released Jerome Williams.

2013Stephen Strasburg  (12-5) led the Nats’ to a 4-1 victory over the Miami Marlins (49-60). Strasburg struck out six and walked one in six innings, extending his scoreless streak against the Marlins to 27 innings. The Nats improved their record to 65-43.
