2005Tony Armas (7-5) allowed nine hits in six innings, and Nick Johnson had three hits and two RBIs to lead the Washington Nationals  (62-55) past the Colorado Rockies (44-74) 8-0. Colorado could not score a single run even though the team collected 13 hits during the game.

2008 – Note / Washington’s Lastings Milledge extended his hitting streak to 15 games with a second-inning single.

2012Gio Gonzalez pitched 6.2 innings and gave up two earned runs during the Washington Nationals‘ (72-44) 14-2 blowout victory over the San Francisco Giants (63-53). Kurt Suzuki drove in four runs, Danny Espinosa and Roger Bernadina each knocked in three. Gonzalez (15-6) tied a Nationals record for wins in a season. Roger Bernadina’s four hits led Washington’s 21 hit onslaught, Steve Lombardozzi, Ryan Zimmerman, Danny Espinosa and Suzuki each had three.
