The Harper Issue

Having been on vacation the last several days and “disconnected,” we read the email from our friend Dave with Bryce Bam Bam Harpersome interest. We had seen the box scores and the video of Bryce Harper being pulled, televisions are everywhere of course. But we missed out on the story threads that have been generated since, especially the one by Tom Boswell the writer for the Washington Post.

No reason to rehash what has been said, but the link is here if you care too.

Sinner or Saint?

Harper’s rapid accession to the Major Leagues is evidence of his desire. No doubt he has aspirations to be one of the best players in baseball. He appears to have the talent to do so. No doubt too that he wants to win. But we could say that of most ball players.

We figure we will continue watch the games and see how his time in Washington plays out. Washington has been fortunate to have a very talented baseball player. When or if he does leave then that seems to be a good time to write the book on Harper, right now it is a work in progress.

We do have to ask this question. Where is the coverage about the MASN straight jacket?

Our two cents.
