David George Baldwin B Mar. 30, 1938 Still Living

Originally signed by the Philadelphia Phillies in June of 1959, Dave Baldwin would pass through the organizations of the New York Mets and Houston Colt .45’s before being signed by the Washington Senators in mid-July of 1964.

Baldwin would finally make it to the majors in September of 1966, appearing in 4 games for the Senators.

Returning with Washington in 1967, Baldwin would appear in 58 games for the Senators, posting a 2-4 record with a 1.70 ERA.

Baldwin would go 0-2 in 40 games in 1968 and 2-4 again in 1969 as he made it into 43 contests.

Traded to the Seattle Pilots/Milwaukee Brewers (In early December, before the Pilots move had been officially approved.) for George Brunet, Baldwin would be 2-1 in 28 games for the Brewers in their inaugural season.

Sold to the Hawaii Islanders before the start of the 1971 season, Baldwin would spend 2 years playing in the Pacific Coast League before being sold to the Chicago White Sox before the start of the 1973 season.

Baldwin would only pitch in 3 games for the White Sox, his last major league appearance coming in early August.
