A minor footnote, but today Wilson Ramos tied the all-time HR in a season for a Washington catcher, and he’ll probably break that record before the season is over. I remember a game when I was a kid when Senator’s catcher Don Leppert hit three in one game, but he never hit more than six in one season over a short-lived major league career. Ramos is a treasure if he stays healthy.
