2007 – The Washington Nationals (58-70) got to Houston’s Juan Gutierrez early in his first major league start. Ronnie Belliard capped a five-run first inning with a two-run homer, and Austin Kearns had three hits as the Nationals hung on to beat the Astros (57-71) 7-6.
2009 – Ryan Zimmerman, Cristian Guzman and Adam Dunn homered, and the Washington Nationals (44-80) beat the Milwaukee Brewers (60-63) 8-3. The victory ended the Nats five-game losing streak.
