2005 – Livan Hernandez took a shutout into the ninth and drove in a run with one of his two singles to lead the Washington Nationals (72-66) past the Florida Marlins (72-65,) 5-2.
Washington is now only 1.5 games behind the Houston Astros in the NL wild-card race.
2007 – The Washington Nationals (63-77) won their fifth straight game, 6-4 over the Florida Marlins (60-80).
2010 – The Washington Nationals (59-78) beat the Pittsburgh Pirates (45-91) 8-1., Ryan Zimmerman drove in four runs, Adam Dunn homered and Jason Marquis won his second in a row for the Nats.
2011 – Michael Morse hit two of Washington’s four homers and led the Washington Nationals (65-74) to a 7-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers (68-72).
2012 – For the second consecutive game, Washington Nationals (84-52) tied a franchise record with six home runs in a 9-1 rout of the Chicago Cubs (51-85).
The Nationals hit six HRs for the 2nd straight game. This has only been done three times in MLB history. Bryce Harper led the way with two homers and Gio Gonzalez won his 18th game.
