2005 – Jose Guillen hit a two-run double in the eighth inning for his 1,000th career hit. Guillen’s double was enough to cap off the Washington Nationals (73-69) come from behind 8-6 victory over NL East leader Atlanta.
2007 – Ryan Church hit a three-run homer to give Washington the lead, D’Angelo Jimenez drove in three runs with three hits and the Washington Nationals l(64-79) beat the Atlanta Braves (73-70) 7-4.
2011 – In the 11th inning Jayson Werth hit the ball towards third base and Houston’s Jimmy Paredes, fielded the ball cleanly but his wild throw to second base, allowed Ryan Zimmerman to score and give the Nationals (66-76) a 4-3 win over the Astros (48-96).
2013 – Gio Gonzalez (10-6) pitches one hitter against the New York Mets and the Washington Nationals (74-69)batters hit five home runs in a 9-0 rout of the New York Mets.
