2009 – On Fan Appreciation Day at Nationals Park Justin Maxwell‘s grand slam off Francisco Rodriguez with two outs in the ninth inning went over the left-field wall and then the Nationals’ came sprinting out of the dugout.
Maxwell’s homer provided a Washington Nationals (55-103) sweep-capping 7-4 victory over the New York Mets (67-92).
