The afternoon event is free to attend.  Seating capacity 80, ** Line up of speakers may change. SOLD OUT.
Dinner from 6:00PM to 9:00PM– cost $60 per person, 50 seat capacity. SOLD OUT. 

  • 11:00 – 11:30 / Mark Hornbaker will have some opening comments about the day’s schedule and possible changes to future meetings. Mark, then introduce the emcees Ed Baruch and Bill Turner.
  • 11:30 -12:15 / Steve Walker / Author of the book, A Whole New Ballgame: The 1969 Washington Senators. Steve, will be presenting a documentary of the ’69 Senators.
  • 12:15-1:00 / Richard Christiansen / #1 Frank “Hondo” Howard Fan! Richard will be sharing his memories of meeting Frank Howard as a young boy. Richard will also share stories of Frank’s wonderful season of ’69.
  • 1:00-1:30 / Lunch
    The event will include a Free Lunch, featuring the popular pre-made sandwich buffet, which includes ham, turkey and roast beef sandwiches, condiments (Mustard, Mayo, horseradish) dill pickles, lettuce tomato, and individual bag of chips, assorted fresh fruit and assorted soft drinks. 
  • 1:30-2:15 / Mike Wallace / MASN’s Nats Talk, Mike also pitched for four Major League teams in the 70’s.
  • 2:15-4:30
  • Dick Bosman / Ace of the ’69 Senators pitching staff.
  • Bernie Allen / 2nd Baseman for the ’69 Senators ball club.
  • Darold Knowles/ was the closer “Fireman” of the ’69 Senators
  • Also joining us will be Jim French, Fred Valentine and Jimmy O Williams and by phone Frank Howard.
  • 4:30 to 5:30 / Book signings, memorabilia for sale.
