2012 – John Lannan pitched five-hit ball over 5 2/3 innings in his first start since replacing Strasburg in Washington’s starting rotation. The Nationals Ryan Zimmerman homered in the fourth inning off rookie Matt Harvey (3-5) and led the Nats (89-54) to a 2-0 win over the New York Mets (65-78).
2013 – Ryan Zimmerman, Adam LaRoche, Wilson Ramos and Anthony Rendon all homered and Washington Nationals (77-69) beat New York Mets (64-81) 7-2 to complete a four-game sweep. Washington out homered the Mets 13-0 in the series.
