Mark, will introduce Brian Alves who will speak a little about why he traveled down from Maine to Maryland to see Fred Valentine.

11:30 – 11:45 / Emcees Ed “Scoreboard Boy” Baruch & Bill “Batboy” Turner will take over the event.

11:45 – 12:30 / James Welch Cooke & Susan Mooring will talk about their Nationals Victory Song (Go Go, Red White & Blue)

12:45 – 1:00 / Ed and Bill will tell you how to purchase 50/50 tickets and review items that will be raffled off.

1:00 – 1:45 / Lunch

2:00 – 2:45 / Mike Wallace / Jimmy O Williams – Will speak about the 2019 World Series Champions and what their thoughts about the 2020 Nationals team. MASN’s Nats Talk, Mike also pitched for four Major League teams in the 70’s.1960’s.

2:45 – 3:30 / Mike O’Connor – Local player talks about playing time with Nationals In 2006 he made his MLB debut for the Washington Nationals and has spent parts of 3 seasons in the Major Leagues with Nationals (2006, 2008) and Mets (2011).

3:30 – 3:45 / Raffle and 50/50 drawing

3:45 – 5:00 / 2005 -Nats Panel

Gary Bennett – Gary was known to come up with big hits during the 2005 season. On June 2nd Bennett hit his first home run of the season in the 2nd inning to give the Nats a 2-0 lead. Bennett came to the rescue with a three-run double in the eighth inning to lead the Nats to an 8-6 win over the Braves, The Nats will go on to win 9 consecutive games after Bennett’s big game.

Chad Cordero – ‘The Chief’ saved 47 games for the Nationals in their inaugural 2005 season and played in the ’05 All-Star MLB All Star game.

John Patterson – Had a breakout season in 2005, posting a 9–7 record for the Nationals while setting career bests in ERA (3.13), innings pitched (198.3), and strikeouts (185) in 31 starts.
